Even more water fun...

The kids and I recently went to Boomerang Bay inside Great America.  It was our first time there and it was really great!  Much better than I had expected.  There were water slides, a high structure to climb on and shoot water guns and cannons at each other, a lazy river, and a large pool that only went to 3 feet deep.  PERFECT for the kids!  They provide life vests and have lifeguards on duty.  Pool side chairs were available so if I didn't want to get in the water I could sit by the waterline to watch the kids playing.  I plan on going back as much as possible this summer to get in some quality pool/tan time.

Fun In The Water

I promise I haven't forgotten about this blog.  Things have gone a bit crazy around here!  I'm knee deep in my nail polish life, coming back home full time, getting the house back in order from my 2-month stint working and starting up a position as a Merchandiser for a new jewelry line chloe + isabel.

Anywho, this has been my first week back home with the kids and we have spent a lot of time in the water.  So I will let the pictures do the talking.

SoCal Vacation

This is from a few weeks back - I only now had a chance to write up a post about it.  Sorry for the delay.  Over Memorial Day weekend we made a quick trip to SoCal with Leo's brother and family.  We hit up the usual places, Universal Studios, Disneyland, California Adventure.  It was fun but it was a whirlwind.  We apparently walked so much that my legs were mega sore on Monday.  The drive home was quite uncomfortable.  Oh, we also stopped at Magic Mountain since we have never been.  We likely won't stop there again until the kids are much older, there weren't many for them to get on and the only rides Leo wanted to go on had 45 minute wait times.  The highlights of the trip were all ride related.  The boys were tall enough to go on some big rides - Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Jurassic Park, and Transformers. Boy were we tired when we finally got home.

This picture makes me crack up every time I look at it…look at all the boys faces, including Leo!

This is what Julian's face looked like on The Tower of Tower too - does this kid every get scared?
