Happy Halloween

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe Halloween!  Hope you get lots of candy, but not so much that your tummy aches!

A Day At The Pumpkin Patch!

Oye October is a busy month.  Last weekend we finally had a chance to get out to the pumpkin patch.  Before we went Noah asked if we could invite Grandma so she joined us for the family outing.  The kids had so much fun!  We went on the hayride and wandered through a mini corn maze.  The kids ate snow cones and we had pumpkin pie.  Noah showed off his reading skills by telling the story of Buzzie the Bess at each check point in the corn maze.  Julian spent a long time determining the perfect pumpkin, then trying to move it to the wheelbarrow himself.  Naomi enjoyed the hayride and enjoyed climbing around on the hay bales.

Julian turned 4

Julian is 4.  4 years old.  I can't believe it.  I still see him as a cuddly big baby, and he is, except now he's a cuddly big boy.  Yesterday was his actual birthday and he had a fun day hanging with me, playing video games, opening presents and eating his requested birthday dinner - shrimp.  Over the weekend we had Julian's party.  He wanted a Ghostbuster themed party, but since there aren't really any Ghostbuster decorations it turned into a Haunted Halloween/Ghostbuster party.  We all had a fun day and tired ourselves out in the bounce house.
